Understanding that it’s a state course, expectations should not be very high. However, the club manager and owner are completely clueless as to how to run, organize, track rounds, schedule help or treat customers. After 2-years of organizing a league with 36 golfers new to the course, we gave up due to their argumentative attitudes and terrible treatment of many of our players. Seldom was there staff available for food/beverage after the round, and management just doesn’t care. My advice: despite the inexpensive cost per round, it’s not worth the aggravation.

I used to come here as a kid. Much of it is just the same. Some of it has been fixed up and maintained. I see they have a snack bar now and the main building looks cleaned up and useful This still unfortunately suffers from neglect in funding in certain areas. The boardwalk is in need of some repair(wear footwear). Some play areas have been neglected and left to rust while others are new and upkept. Still not a bad park. It has some great views and is wide enough for lots of people to use it while not being on top of each other. Bike trails, golf course, frisbee golf, etc.

It was clean... beach was sandy.... in the water was sandy with some smooth rocks mostly sand though as whole the beach and park was clean with plenty of picnic tables very close to the water and some grills .. great on a hot day with clear warm water .

Mostly open park style course with some good variations in holes. Can be windy on some holes as it's right on the water. Nice scenery and wildlife too!

Decent course, nothing fancy. The clubhouse burned down a few years ago and the new one is such a huge improvement. They serve food, beer, and booze. Breakfast till 11 and lunch after that. Breakfast options, the day I was there (June 2018), was only a small breakfast sandwich or a small breakfast burrito. Not impressed. Course is wide open and pretty straight with a few sand and water traps. Great price and one of the closest courses to the city. Be warned about bridge traffic.
